Hi! Keeping up with my Shae Vizla entries, it\u2019s
\ntime to talk about her infernal undersuit. Let\u2019s go!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This suit is one of the most difficult things I\u2019ve
\never sewed. First I made some beautiful patterns in paper. I made them copying
\na catsuit I already had at home and taking in account my measurements. It didn\u2019t
\ngo well, I made it too tiny. I tried to fix it but I ruined it even more. Yay
\nfor me! This is the worst thing of making complicated puzzle clothes like this
\none: you can\u2019t see if you\u2019re making them right until you try them on half made.
\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I threw it away and started over.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

For the second (and successful) attempt I went
\non the safe side and I wrapped myself in plastic wrap and duct tape with the
\nhelp of my devoted Winters and obtained my patterns out of my plastic husk.
\nThen I drew the pieces on it basing myself in the original model, of course.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Once the pieces were drawn, I numbered them and
\nI cut them by sector to avoid getting lost in all that mess because I had like
\n140 pieces to sew together! It was a nightmare.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

To achieve that futuristic (from long time ago
\nin a galaxy far, far away) I used black matte vinyl and grey pleather. And, to emphasise
\nthe seam relieves I lined each piece using foam.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

To line each piece, I joined the vinyl and the
\nfoam sewing them together around the edges with the sewing machine. After that
\nI put everything together.First I basted everything with pain and lots of pins
\nand finally I machine sewed it.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

And there\u2019s nothing more to say about this
\nprocess. Once I sewed all the pieces together, I obtained a suit! I installed \u00a0<\/span>the zipper, \u00a0<\/span>finished the collar, sleeves and legs and it
\nwas done!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
